8% is a co-release between Joey Keithley’s Sudden Death Records and the band’s own Haute Voltage label. The album is a testament to The Jolts’ versatility. The Ramones’ hooks and progressions are still there, but the music has evolved beyond punk rock conventions, flirting with influences ranging from Rose Tattoo and MC5 to Hanoi Rocks and The Damned.
